Greetings from Vancouver, Canada.

I’m Doug Farmer, the face behind Forefront Systems. A software development company I created in 1995 to act as a safe harbour in one of the most stormy, dynamic and quickly evolving industries in recent history.

I’ve been developing computer software since 1976 riding the technological wave from centralized mainframe and minicomputer systems to today’s world of smartphones, tablets and the Internet of Things. To say the past 45 years has been revolutionary would be a considerable understatement.
